Why I Built FightIQ
The honest story behind the platform
I'll be honest...
FightIQ wasn't built because I woke up one day wanting to build an app.
It was built because I got tired of doing homework every single UFC weekend.
Every card looked the same. I'd have ESPN open. Then Tapology. Then YouTube. Then X. Then my sportsbook.
Forty-five minutes later... I somehow knew less than when I started.
Then I'd find a fighter who was 10-0. "Easy money."
Five minutes into the fight... I realized all ten wins came on the regional scene and he was making his UFC debut.
Sound familiar?
Or I'd hammer the knockout artist... only to watch him get submitted before I even finished my first beer.

That's when it clicked.
The information already existed. It was just scattered across ten different websites. No one had put everything together in one place.
So I decided to build it.
