FightIQ ("we," "us," or "our") operates a combat sports analysis platform that provides fight predictions, fighter statistics, matchup breakdowns, and community features. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using FightIQ, you agree to the practices described here.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

Account & Profile Data

When you create an account, we collect your email address and a hashed password. If you complete a fighter profile or account settings, we may also store your display name, preferences, and any information you choose to provide.

OAuth Sign-In Data

FightIQ offers sign-in through Google, Microsoft, and Facebook. When you use one of these providers, we receive your email address and the name associated with your provider account. We do not receive or store your provider password. You can revoke our access at any time through your provider's account settings.

Usage & Analytics Data

We collect information about how you interact with FightIQ, including pages visited, features used, predictions viewed, time spent, device type, browser, and approximate location (based on IP address). This data is used to improve our platform and analyze usage trends.

Payment & Subscription Data

When you subscribe to FightIQ Pro or FightIQ Elite, payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe. We receive a confirmation of your subscription status, plan type, and billing period from Stripe, but we do not collect, store, or transmit your credit card number, CVV, or other full card details. All payment information is handled securely by Stripe in accordance with PCI-DSS standards.

Ambassador & Referral Data

If you participate in the FightIQ Ambassador Program, we collect your referral code, social media handles (if provided during application), audience size, and information about users who sign up using your referral link. We track commission eligibility, subscription activity tied to your code, and payout status. This includes the email addresses of referred subscribers for the purpose of attribution and commission calculation.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your data to:

Create and manage your FightIQ account
Authenticate you via Google, Microsoft, or Facebook
Process subscription payments and manage billing
Provide personalized fight analysis, predictions, and matchup breakdowns
Track ambassador referrals and calculate commission payouts
Improve our fight analysis accuracy, features, and user experience
Send service notifications, product updates, and (for ambassadors) commission reports
Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and security issues

4. Payment Processing via Stripe

FightIQ uses Stripe as its sole payment processor. When you make a purchase or subscribe to a paid plan, your payment details are submitted directly to Stripe. We never see or store your full card number, bank account details, or other sensitive payment data. We store only your subscription tier, billing status, and Stripe customer identifier. 5. Third-Party Services

FightIQ integrates with the following third-party services:

Google, Microsoft, and Facebook — for OAuth account authentication
Stripe — for subscription payment processing and billing management
Third-party analytics providers — for generating fight analysis, predictions, and breakdowns. Your usage data and fight-related queries may be processed by these providers to deliver analysis.
Analytics providers — to understand platform usage and improve features

Each third-party service has its own privacy policy governing how it handles your data. We encourage you to review their policies.

6. Cookies

FightIQ uses cookies and similar technologies (local storage, session tokens) to keep you logged in, remember your preferences, track usage analytics, and provide a smooth user experience. Authentication cookies are required for the platform to function. You can disable non-essential cookies through your browser settings, but this may affect certain features.

7. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, we will remove your personal data from our active systems within 30 days, except where we are legally required to retain it (e.g., for fraud prevention or tax records related to ambassador commissions). Aggregate, anonymized usage data may be retained indefinitely for analytics purposes.

8. Your Rights

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

Access — Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
Correction — Request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete data
Deletion — Request that we delete your account and associated personal data
Opt-Out — Unsubscribe from non-essential communications at any time

9. Children's Privacy

FightIQ is not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. Combat sports betting, where applicable, is restricted to adults of legal age in their jurisdiction. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

10. Ambassador Program

The FightIQ Ambassador Program allows approved users to earn commissions by referring new subscribers. When you apply to become an ambassador, we collect the information you provide in your application (name, email, social handles, audience size, and application responses). If approved, you will receive a unique referral code. We track the email addresses and subscription activity of users who sign up using your referral link solely for the purpose of calculating and verifying your commissions. We do not share your personal ambassador data with other ambassadors. Commission payouts and billing periods are managed through our internal records and Stripe.

11. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your data, including encrypted password hashing, access controls, and secure API communication. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security but will notify you and applicable authorities in the event of a data breach affecting your personal information.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we will provide a more prominent notice (such as an in-app notification or email). Continued use of FightIQ after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
